IT'S ALIVE! Frankenstein's Comic Book Swap's first run!

Last Saturday, Cosmic Monkey's Tim and Andy organized the first ever Frankenstein Comic Book SWAP which managed to successfully (and colorfully) connect local vendors to local comic lovers and in the process continue to build a healthy community of comic books & people!

...and thank you to the vendors and entertainment! Special thanks to Eagle Lodge for providing ample space for the 16 mm projectors, as well!

Frankenstein's Comic Book SWAP

Cosmic Monkey Comics is proud to be part of Frankenstein's Comic Book Swap, an old school comics event featuring dealers and collectors selling comics! Come by the Eagle's Lodge on Saturday July 19th and pay the measly sum of 1 single dollar to gain entry!  You might see old comic collecting friends you used to run into at the Memorial Coliseum shows.

Thanks to Monica Gallagher for visiting us last Saturday!

Monica flew out all the way from Baltimore to visit the Portland comic scene and spend some time with us at Cosmic Monkey!

Monica Gallagher coming to Cosmic Monkey, May 31st!

Cosmic Monkey is happy to have Monica Gallagher joining us Saturday May 31st for a signing from noon to 2pm.

Monica Gallagher is an indie creator with over ten years experience creating comics and illustrations with a positive, feminist spin. She has self-published several mini-comics and books. Free Comic Book Day! What a great day!

A sincere thank you to our local artists who make this a wonderful, vibrant community to be a part of:

And of course thank you to the fans and families...Can't wait to see you all again soon!

....and as Portland is known as the most haunted city in America, we made sure to schedule the Ghostbusters for the entire day! You just never know...but luckily, we were prepared. Thanks, guys!
